Involved in every step of the forestry process—from felling timber to transporting it to the sawmill and milling it to meet specific domestic or export needs—the Turman Group manufactures all grades of lumber. This includes furniture grade, hardwood flooring, kiln-dried lumber, veneer logs, and pallet stock. Additionally, they offer home-heating wood pellets and hardwood mulch produced from by-products.

The Turman Group is a vertically integrated set of wood products companies operating in the forestry products industry, extending from the southwestern corner of Virginia to the center of the Commonwealth. In 2006, Turman conducted 80% of its business domestically. By 2011, the split between domestic and international sales had shifted to approximately 50-50%; by 2016, 70% of sales were exports.
