Courtesy Meeting at Sihanoukville Autonomous Port

On the morning of Sunday, September 6, 2026 H.E. Oknha Laov Kang, Vice President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, representing H.E. Oknha Kith Meng, President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council for Cambodia, accompanied by Oknha Tan Tat, Vice President of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce and President of the Sihanoukville Chamber of Commerce, as well as members of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, attended a courtesy meeting and working visit by a delegation of the American Cambodian Business Chamber to learn about the progress and development of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port. The delegation was led by Ms. Chan Sokveasna, Founder and President of the American Cambodian Business Chamber.

On this occasion, the delegation received a warm welcome from H.E. Lou Kim Chhun, Representative of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge of serving as Director General of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, together with the port's leadership and technical officials.

The primary purpose of the meeting was to gain a better understanding of the progress and development of Sihanoukville Autonomous Port, as well as to explore opportunities to strengthen cooperation and investment between the private sectors of Cambodia and the United States.

The meeting also provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences in the transportation and logistics sectors, which have significant potential to promote trade, investment, and Cambodia's economic connectivity with the United States and international markets.
